The correspondence department of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Engineers of Agricultural Mechanization is guided by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of November 21, 2017 "On organization of correspondence (evening) and evening (shift) About approval of Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan ". The correspondence course is conducted in the following forms: correspondence form and correspondence of the second and the subsequent higher education. The correspondence department is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education", the National Program for Personnel Training, Resolutions of the Oliy Majlis, decrees, Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, orders of the Rector of the Institute and the Charter of the Department.

The main tasks of the correspondence department are:

·        Ensure that the process of correspondence education is organized on the bases of existing normative and legal acts;

·        Providing educational services that meet consumer needs in the form of correspondence education and ensuring the quality of education that meets international education standards;

·        Improving the regulatory and methodological support for the learning process by correspondence forms of education;

·        Cooperation and development of correspondence department with other departments of the institute;

·        Continuously improving the teaching and learning technologies in the form of correspondence education by studying the requirements of science, education and market relations, as well as improving the educational process through advanced training programs and introduction of technologies, etc.

A total of 6115 students study at the correspondence department, including 1144 in the 1st year, 1598 in the 2nd year, 1603 in the 3rd year, 1132 in the 4th year and 638 in the 5th year
