Umurzakov Oktam Pardayevich has made great
contributions to the development of our university during his career for many
years. From 1974 to 1977, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural
Mechanization Engineers ("Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and
Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University)Junior
researcher of the "Machinery maintenance and repair" department,
junior researcher of the research laboratory of the Tashkent Institute of
Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers in 1977-1980, in 1980-1990
the researcher of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural
Mechanization Engineers. Assistant of the Department of Materials Science and
Mechanical Engineering, in 1990-1992, Dean of the Faculty of Advanced Training
of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization
Engineers, in 1992-1996, the Training Center for Agricultural Mechanization
Engineers of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural
Mechanization Engineers. vice-rector, dean of the "Agricultural
Mechanization" faculty of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and
Agricultural Mechanization Engineers in 1996-1999, Scientific Affairs and
Information Technologies of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and
Agricultural Mechanization Engineers in 1999-2004 vice-rector, first
vice-rector for Academic Affairs of the Tashkent Irrigation and Reclamation
Institute in 2004-2011, and first vice-rector for Academic Affairs of the
Tashkent Irrigation and Reclamation Institute in 2011-2013, acting rector,
since 2013 Professor of the "Economy of Water Management" department
of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Reclamation, from May 26, 2017, he
worked as the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural
Mechanization Engineers. Chairman of the Republican Council of Higher
Education, rector of our institute, doctor of economics, professor Oktam
Pardayevich Umurzakov died on July 26, 2021 at the age of 69. Oktam Pardayevich
Umurzakov is a graduate of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and
Agricultural Mechanization Engineers. His whole life is closely connected with
this educational institution.
